Thursday September 21, 2017

          Ice Breaker 7 pm on Joe Schmucks - open mic / Regular Menu & Mushroom specials / propane campfire - will try to squeeze in everyone, reservations recommended

 Friday September 22, 2017  - Breakfast & lunch thoughout the day.  Homemade mushroom soup & biscuits by Cassy - Every Little Thing  / Happy Buddha Belly Foodtruck

          All day Tour 10-4:  Larry Evans & Tyson Ehlers lead $100 (be at Red Barn by 9:30) -transport & Blondies bag lunch incl, soup break on return

          Walking Tour 1-3:  Paul Kroeger lead $30  (be at Red Barn 15 minutes early)

           Sicamous Stroll 4 pm - Hosted by Chamber of Commerce.  Short walking tour from Red Barn to local businesses, fungi theme.

           Opening Night - 6 pm Feature mushroom themed dinner by Wild and Co. $15.

          Presentation:  7 pm Paul Kroeger - Fungi a world of wonder beneath your feet $10 (introduction for beginners-Students free)

           Beverage Garden 4 - 11.  DB Cooper Band 8 - 11.  Food by Wild & Co at Red Barn.   Donation of cans to 2018 ERS Europe Tour

Saturday September 23, 2016 - Breakfast and lunch and throughout the day by Happy Buddha Belly Food Truck.

         Mushroom Themed Market 10-4, homemade mushroom soup (Cassy - Every Little Thing) at lunch.

         All day tour 10-4:  Larry Evans and Tyson Ehlers lead $100 (be at Red Barn by 9:30 - transportation and bag lunch from Blondies included)

         Walking Tour 1-3:  Paul Kroeger lead $30 (be at Red Barn 15 minutes early)

         1-4 Brush and Palette Club painting workshop, have fun learning how to paint with a mushroom theme.  Free

         4:00 Cooking demonstration (Bruschetta, Pho, Risotto), and tasting and wine samples.  $10   

          4:55 Sampling - After Dark Distillery

         Presentation: 5 pm Paul Kroeger - Magic mushrooms $10

         Presentation:  6 pm Larry Evans - Morels in Burn zones & mushrooms of Rocky Mountains - $10

       Brothers Pub hosts Saturday evening music, drinks and food.  Regular menu and these great specials

  1. Mushroom and sourdough bruschetta - $12
  2. Roasted garlic, seafood and cream cheese stuffed mushroom caps - $14
  3. Grilled chicken and porcini risotto - $17
  4. Roasted Portobello caps with grilled chicken and balsamic reduction with a side - $16
  5. Creamy parmesan garlic mushroom chicken served on rotini pasta with garlic toast - $17

             3rd Annual Walk / Run 7 am - this year in support of Sicamous Communities in Bloom

             Presentation 9 am Tyson Ehlers Mushrooms to know in the Kootenays (focus on edible mushrooms in our area) $10

             Presentation 10 am Larry Evans Mushrooms of the Amazon ($10)

             All day Tour 11-3 ($75)  - no lunch, transportation included, be at Red Barn by 10:30

             Walking Tour 1-3  Paul Kroeger lead $30, be at Red Barn 15 minutes early

        Festival wind up:  Moose Mulligans - Special Menu 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday

  3. Turkey schnitzel- house breaded turkey breast, fried with butter and topped with a red wine oyster mushroom sauce……...$21
  4.  8oz Beef Tenderloin- Canadian Beef Tenderloin grilled to perfection and served with a warm mixed mushroom salad and potato of the day…...$30
